BIO

Willie D McClung

As Hank Williams, Jr. once said “A Country Boy Can Survive” and Willie has lived by those words. He was born and raised on a farm in Eva, Alabama.  A place so dear to his heart, he still owns the family farm even though he lives in Southern California.

Willie’s passion for music was ignited from the moment he heard Elvis Presley as a child. Live shows and small town events were his outlet, but the brights of Hollywood were calling.  At 19, Willie moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in music on on the famed Sunset Strip.  He spent the next several years touring the US, playing hundreds of venues, entertaining folks all over the country with Rock, Southern Rock and Rhythm & Blues.

Southern rock has remained his passion over the years and after reconnecting with Jeff Jones, a former band mate (and high school friend) who was working in Nashville,  he found that their combined passion and talent were the key to creating great Southern Rock music, breaking trends and connecting with fans who have waiting for something traditional, yet new.   As Willie’s song says, It’s time to Get You Some Of This!
